ABOUT ME AND MY APPROACH
Hello, my name is Wofford Lee Jones, and I am a self-taught artist and illustrator based in Greenville, SC. For over a year, I have stepped into book cover design, mainly for myself, but I have begun to pass my name around to do some cover designs for other writers. In working with different designers for my first three books, figuring out what I had in mind for them, and being extremely detail-minded in relaying this information to them, I felt the only thing missing was knowing the software (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) to create my covers.
At the beginning of 2022, I made a New Year’s resolution to learn as much as possible about making solid, eye-catching, and appealing book covers. One of the main things was to learn the Adobe software, starting with Photoshop to get started. Since then, I am slowly building up my clientele and am blessed to make covers for authors like Evan Bond, Patrick Delaney (and myself). I would love to add your name to this growing list. I love designing book covers. It is like a different kind of jigsaw puzzle. There are numerous elements, and my job is to take your thoughts and my suggestions and work them in such a way that there is harmony and balance to your cover that stands out on any bookshelf.
